Final Project
This is my final project titled What a Long
Day. Normally, acrylic paint is not my preferred art medium. I am comfortable working with pencils, pen & ink, or watercolor. With this final project, I wanted to challenge myself by using acrylic paint to create something meaningful. Considering I never paint, I am really proud of myself for getting out of my comfort zone artistically. And, of course, I am proud of the outcome.

My idea for this piece was to paint a fatigued woman pealing out of her clothes after a long day of work. I believe this piece is about being human. We ALL have had one of those excruciatingly long days of work or school that leave us so exhausted that all we want to do is go home, eat food, shower, or specifically in this painting. change out of our sticky clothes. There can be multiple interpretations to this painting, but I think that is what I was going for in terms of meaning.
