My name is Raquela Morrone. I am currently completing my second year at Dawson College in the ALC program, specifically studying in the Studio Arts program. I started doing art at a very young age, which mostly consisted of me recreating crayon book illustrations with markers, wax crayons, and colored pencils. Once I reached high school, I took art classes for three secondaries including secondary one, two and four. Visual artistry was something that I knew I had a gift in, but also an art form that I wanted to continue improving in and learning about. So, I decided to pursue my passion for visual arts by studying in a college art program.
I enjoy using many art mediums. Mediums that I work with the most are pencils, charcoal, pen & ink and watercolor. Although I normally stick to these mediums, I am open to trying out new mediums anytime. I don't like limiting myself to only a select few mediums because at some point, it feels really boring when you use the same medium over and over again. Branching out with art mediums keeps art fun, creative and more motivating for me.
